Trouble in this world will catch you off your guard
It’ll be all right, it’ll be all right
Comes so easy, but it leaves so hard / It’ll be…
Yes trouble in this world will find you on your knees…
Crying Lord, have mercy on me if you please…
Well you kneel to the Lord & you will bless yourself…
Ain’t no need to kneel to no one else…
Yes trouble in this world is like a newborn child…
Looks so sweet, but then it acts so wild…
Well you think you’ve left your trouble far behind…
All of a sudden, you’ve got trouble in mind…
Well it might be outside, or it might be in…
Might be sorrow, or it might be sin…
Well you just wrap your trouble in a big brown sack…
Turn it over and it won’t come back…
Well it sounds so simple, but it’s hard to do…
Just tell me your trouble & I’ll tell mine to you…
Well the rain keeps falling on the fool & the wise…
God loves a sinner when a sinner cries…
But you can’t see mercy when you’re blinded by this world…
So many swine before so great a pearl…
Yes trouble will find you as you’re on your way…
But take my hand & we’ll be home someday…
Yes trouble will find us as we’re makin’ our way…
But keep on walkin’ we’ll be home someday…
