Grief sings her song
Deep within my belly
Having traveled inward
Through my throat
To my stomach’s well, it
Swirls there and moans
In caverns still unknown
Where my bones
Feel the resonance
The rhythm of the song
And my body senses sound waves
As they float along
Through the stillness
Of the air
Through my world
In disrepair
